ToyotaCare
ToyotaCare is the base-level maintenance package, and it comes with every brand-new Toyota model, whether you buy or lease your vehicle. This package will cover routine maintenance for the first two years or 25,000 miles and comes at no cost to the shopper. The coverage includes oil and filter changes to keep your engine properly lubricated. It will also cover tire rotations to ensure that all four of your tires are wearing at the same rate for a balanced drive.

Plus, your vehicle will get a multi-point inspection with each service, during which time factory-trained technicians will look over every nook and cranny of your Toyota to check for any issues. While standard ToyotaCare is for brand-new cars, this option is also available for those purchasing a gently used Toyota.
In order to qualify for this plan, a used vehicle must have fewer than 31,000 miles on it and be within 37 months of the vehicle’s first use. When you look at these numbers, you can see that this is a popular plan for people who buy a recently turned-in lease. With many leases running for 36 months, we regularly turn around and sell these vehicles while they’re still within that 37-month window.
Drivers can choose the length and terms of their plan. There is a three-year plan with a duration of 35,000 or 45,000 miles, a four-year plan with a duration of 45,000 or 60,000 miles, and a five-year plan with a duration of 55,000 or 75,000 miles. All of these options cover the same routine maintenance as the ToyotaCare plan and provide 24/7 roadside assistance for the duration of the plan.
Toyota Service Care
What options do drivers have when they purchase a used vehicle with more than 31,000 miles on it? Or when they’ve simply been driving their car for so long that their ToyotaCare or ToyotaCare Plus plan expires? They can purchase Toyota Service Care.
Most Toyota vehicles, regardless of mileage, are eligible for Toyota Service Care. This is a prepaid maintenance plan that lasts for two years and unlimited miles. It will get you the same factory-recommended routine services and 24/7 roadside assistance (even if someone else is driving the vehicle when an issue occurs) as ToyotaCare.
